Mr. Diggs is not only our Woodshop teacher and the Program Coordinator for Wise Young Builders in Buffalo, but he also travels across the country giving presentations to school-age children. Last week, he spoke to our club about Black History. He talked about some of the lesser-known individuals of all races who were instrumental in the Civil Rights movement, the challenges the kids may face as they get older and how to overcome them by doing what is right. We are very fortunate to have Mr. Diggs not only spend time teaching our youth about Black History, but to be a part of our educational staff as well.
